The Mortuary Temple of Seti I is the memorial temple of the pharaoh of the same name. the construction of the temple was begun towards the end of the reign of Seti and may have been completed after his death by his son, Ramesses the Great. One of the chambers was originally a shrine dedicated to Seti's father, Remesses I, who ruled for just two years and did not have a mortuary temple of his own.
The Abd el-Qurna Necropolis is the most visited site of its kind in the area. It contains a large concentration of more than 150 private tombs of Egyptian dynasties. The most significant tombs in Abd el-Qurna Necropolis are the ones of Rekhmire, Ramose, Nakht and Sennefer
pick up early from your hotel by a modern A/C coach to the ferry boat to cross the nile with the local egyptians going to their fields. after that we will take a community taxi to drop us to where we will start our tour on foot to visit
