The Mortuary Temple of Seti I is the memorial temple of the pharaoh of the same name. the construction of the temple was begun towards the end of the reign of Seti and may have been completed after his death by his son, Ramesses the Great. One of the chambers was originally a shrine dedicated to Seti's father, Remesses I, who ruled for just two years and did not have a mortuary temple of his own.
