Ninh Binh and Tam Coc, Ha Long Bay on land

 

Pick up at the hotel for a 2-hour car ride heading south of Ha Noi to Ninh Binh Province, known to travelers as Vietnam’s “Inland Ha Long Bay”. Let’s starts with an exciting day highlighted by 2 hours of local boat ride in Tam Coc stream where we will enjoy the spectacular scenery while gliding along the river among rice paddies and ranges of limestone mountains peaking up towers above you. After enjoying a local food lunch served at a restaurant riverside, we will take a short transfer through the peaceful country road to Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital 11 centuries ago. Here stand two temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le. Then, come back to Ha Noi.
