Enjoy a half-day tour experience of the daily life of the local people and to join traditional activities in the countryside…

 

Start the tour with a boat trip to Kim Bong Carpentry Village. There, you will visit the artisans making beautiful and unique wooden products. Continue the journey with a discovery of the countryside. You will ride a bike to appreciate the green and quiet roads. Green bamboo, areca and Chinese tea plants surround the paths taken. The tour guide will give you interesting information about the local plants, herbs and vegetables while you are riding. Then, we will stop to meet a local family who will show you how to make wine from rice, colorful sleeping mats, rice noodles, and rice papers. You will be able to try the Bèo cake, a culinary specialty of Vietnam.

 

Before having lunch, you will go to Tra Nhieu fishing village. You will experience traditional fishing techniques such as dragging, commonly called the small Mekong Delta. During your time there, you can also try to row a traditional bamboo boat. Have lunch and enjoy the bike ride back to the harbor, where you will take a boat and come back to your hotel.
