Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, and also its second largest city, is a fascinating blend of East and West, combining traditional Sino-Vietnamese motifs with French flair. It is largely unscathed from the decades of war, and is now going through a building boom, making it a rapidly developing city in Southeast Asia.

Day 1: Hanoi

Arrival and pick up at the airport in Hanoi. Night at your hotel.

Day 2: Hoa Lu and Tam Coc tour

Pick up at your hotel at 745AM to start the trip. Located in Ninh Binh province 100 km southeast of Hanoi, Hoa Lu and Tam Coc are two of the most picturesque spots in all of the north.

Morning Coach trip to Ninh Binh, 100km down the South of Hanoi, to see Hoa Lu citadel, the first capital of Vietnam in the 10th century (from 968 to 1009 CE). Visit the 2 temples of "Dinh King" and "Le King". Get a nice buffet lunch in a Vietnamese restaurant.

Afternoon Nearby Tam Coc is often referred as to “Halong among the rice paddies.” Visitors are conveyed by rowboat during 2.5 hours along the peaceful Tam Coc stream past green fields and the feet of mountains. They pass underneath of 3 caves (Hang Ca, Hang Hai, Hang Ba) where they encounter new surprises, like stalactites and stalagmites that shimmer like gemstones just inches from the water.

Return back to the hotel at 5:00PM.

Day 3: Hanoi

Check out of your hotel and continue your travels on your own.
