Ha Long Bay is in northern Vietnam, 170 km (105 mi) east of Hanoi. The bay is famous for its scenic ocean karst topography and is often included in lists of natural wonders of the world. This unique UNESCO World Heritage Site is a popular place for tourists and it is good to know that large parts of Ha Long Bay are officially protected from development. The islands vary greatly in size and shape as well as structure.

Visitors might want to allow a few days to explore this magical bay as its attractions are extremely numerous.

Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay

You will be picked up between 7.45 8.15 am at your hostel/hotel (pick up times can vary slightly depending on whether you are the first clients or last clients to be picked up). We will drive you about 3 and a half hours to Halong City. We will have a short break for 20 minutes half way. By 11.30 am, our crew will welcome you on board with drinks and a delicious fresh seafood lunch. You will check in your cabins and start cruising around the bay to see the amazing karsts with different formations such as Lion, Tea Pot, Toad island. Then we will stop to visit the Sung Sot or Amazing Cave, the biggest one in Halong Bay. Later on, you'll have a plenty of time for swimming, kayaking and sunbathing. You'll also have chance to enjoy a wonderful sunset. Following dinner, you'll retire to the comfort of your cabins.

Day 2: Halong Bay - Hanoi

If you like to enjoy the sunrise on Halong Bay, please get up early at about 6.30 am. You'll have breakfast at 7.30 am when your boat starts cruising around Halong Bay. After a short cruise, we will come back to Halong City where you will enjoy delicious lunch in the restaurant. After lunch we make our way back to Hanoi arriving at about 16.00 pm.
