The sanctuary itself is an impressive monument overlooking the Perfume River and offers a good view of the area. Then continue by boat to visit the royal tomb of King Ming Mang. Ming Mang is the finest of the imperial tombs. The attraction here is the harmonious garden with its frangipani and lotus blossoms. Ming Mang reigned from 1820 to 1840; the tomb was constructed after his death by his heir, Thieu Tri. The atmosphere is one of peace and tranquility.
