Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Island

Day 1:  Ha Long Bay

Pick up at hotel and transfer to the wharf to board a junk cruise to explore the wondrous Ha Long Bay; truly one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic sights. This exciting five-hour cruise will provide an eccentric view of the picturesque landscape blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are scattered throughout beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way, we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and take an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. Stay overnight on the Cruise. (LD)

 

Day 2: Ha Long Bay – Cat Ba Island

After breakfast, you may enjoy your morning with swimming and/or sunbathing. Then, get on a ferry to Cat Ba Island where you will be cruising through photo opportunity moments. Upon arrival at Gia Luan Pier, you will be picked up by a bus and en route to visit Cat Ba National Park where you can enjoy some soft hiking. Continue on to the center of Cat Ba City and transfer to your hotel for check in and relaxation. Free time to enjoy Cat Ba or go swimming at Cat Co Beach. Have dinner at your hotel. Overnight on Cat Ba Island. (BLD)

 

Day 3: Cat Ba Island – Ha Long Bay

After breakfast at the hotel, spend the morning at your own leisure. Have lunch at a local restaurant before getting on a ferry back to Tuan Chau Dock where the driver will pick you up and transfer back to your hotel in Ha Long Bay. (BL)
