Glamours of Ha Long Bay

Pick-up at the hotel. Discover Ha Long Bay, a body of water of approximately 1,500 square kilometers in North Vietnam with a 120 kilometers coastline in the Gulf of Tonkin. Ha Long Bay means «Bay of the Descending Dragon» in the local language. The bay consists of a dense cluster of 3000 limestone monolithic islands, each topped with thick jungle vegetation, which rise spectacularly from the ocean. Several of the islands are hollow with enormous caves. Some of the islands support floating villages of fishermen, who ply the shallow waters for 200 species of fish and 450 different kinds of mollusks.

 

Our tour today starts with a dreamy cruise to stunning scenery of thousands of limestone mountains. Enjoy a seafood lunch (served with Vietnamese traditional dishes as well as vegetarian options) while cruising through the emerald water passing by the Dog Stone, and the Burning Incense Islet. Afterwards, will visit the Fighting-Cock rock and the Heavenly Palace (Thien Cung Cave) – which has opened to the public since 1998 with stalagmites and stalactites. Moving on is a visit to Dau Go Cave before cruising back to the dock. Transfer back to your hotel.
