Day 1: Ha Long — Yen Duc Village – Local House and Traditional family life
Pick-up at your hotel and drive 60 km West of Ha Long City to Yen Duc; a picturesque setting village with poetic scenery, charming rivers, historical mountains, and sacred legends and relics related to Ly and Tran Dynasties. This special trip provides a comfortable stay in Viet Village House, surrounded by rice fields in Yen Duc Village. Cycling to discover peaceful village, talking with local people, and visiting their family house should amaze you with lots of cultural sense and fun. In addition, joining local activities (fishing, gardening, making floating cakes…) will bring you close to real experience of farmers and tasting delicious meals in slow relaxing moment.
Arrive at Yen Duc Village. Enjoy a welcome drink and free time for discovering the poetic landscape. Have lunch at a local house. Check-in, then enjoy time of relaxation to experience the Viet Village House. Visit an ancient house in the village to gain a deeper understanding of Vietnamese family traditions. Participate in farming work as well as interact and exchange with local people. Enjoy a special dinner served at a local house and endure the fruits of your day’s labor. Day 2: Morning at Yen Duc Village – Handicrafts at local home
Wake-up call to start a new day with a Tai Chi session. Enjoy a delicious breakfast before a stroll around the village to breath in the fresh air. Visit a local family home and learn about their handicraft work. Return to Viet Village House. Have lunch and relax. Enjoy water puppets show by local artist. Your trip now concludes, leaving you with fond memories of peaceful Yen Duc. Drive back to Ha Long and drop off at your hotel. (BL)
