Cao Dai Temple and Cu Chi Tunnels Full Day Tour

Go on a pilgrimage to the Holy See Temple of Cao Dai and learn about the Cao Dai faith. Then, tour the Cu Chi Tunnels of the Viet Cong and discover the role they played in the Vietnam War.

Explore some of Vietnam’s most important monuments on an 8-hour sightseeing tour from Ho Chi Minh City. Visit the Holy See Temple of Cao Dai in Tay Ninh, and the labyrinthine Cu Chi Tunnels of the Viet Cong.

Your tour starts at the Cao Dai Temple, considered one of the most striking structures in Asia. Admire the stunning monument, constructed between 1933 and 1955, and attend the monks’ prayer session to witness daily mass. Learn about Caodaism, a local sect of Buddhism founded by a Vietnamese countryman in the early 20th century.

Heading back towards Saigon, stop at the Cu Chi Tunnels, a heroic memorial to the Vietnam War. The vast network of tunnels functioned as underground cities, including specially constructed living areas, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers, and kitchens.

Enter the tunnels via small trap doors and crawl through a section of the site to experience what life must have been like during the terrible chapter in Vietnam’s recent history.
