First, we drive a car about 15 km east from Ha Noi to Bat Trang Village, very famous for making fine ceramics. On arrival, you will be able to stroll in the small alleys of this old village to watch the local people producing their products and visit some of the houses used as workshops and showrooms, unleashing selection of ceramic items rich in varieties and styles. After Bat Trang Village trip, we drive to Dong Ho Village, famous for its traditional folk paintings printed in colors taken from nature. Here, you will spend time in an artist’s house to learn about the creative process.

 

You will have lunch before visiting But Thap, one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam and known as Vietnam's first Buddhist Center. This pagoda is also well known for traditional Vietnamese Art of woodcarvings and sculptures, especially the statue of Buddha with thousand hands and thousand eyes. The statue of Tay Thien Dong Do Vietnam is also the highlight of But Thap Pagoda. We will then be transferred back to Ha Noi.
