The Phantom of the Opera

A timeless tale of romance, seduction, obsession and despair, Phantom of the Opera has been enjoyed by scores of people over the last twenty five years. This captivating musical promises to capture your heart as you are taken on an emotional and thrilling journey that will hold your attention and imagination.

Winner of seven Tony Awards including Best Musical, the Phantom is the longest-running musical in Broadway history. The iconic mask of the Phantom has become the instantly recognisable symbol of this celebrated show even for those who have never seen it.

Hidden from society in the dark underground of the Paris Opera House, the Phantom lives a tortured existence as a result of facial deformity. Deprived of human contact or affection, he has become a terrifying presence of myth-like proportions, feared by all those connected with the theatre. The Phantom’s only noble quality seems to be his musical appreciation and ability, which hints at the possibility of redemption for this otherwise deplorable character.

Forced to surface from his subterranean hideaway to engage with the world above in order to express his musical genius, the Phantom becomes obsessed with a talented and beautiful soprano, Christine. The subsequent unfolding of dramatic events involving the theatre and the object of his desire makes the story of the Phantom of the Opera the most financially successful musical of all time.

Featuring well-known songs such as Music of the Night, All I Ask of You, and, of course, Phantom of the Opera, as well as beautiful sets, this show’s haunting melodies and gorgeous scenery will make you fall in love every time you see it.
