The Florida Aquarium

The Florida Aquarium features more than 20,000 aquatic plants and marine animals from all around the world. Experience a 500,000 gallon floor-to-ceiling Coral Reef tank and get the chance to meet a penguin up close. See fierce sharks, endangered sea turtles and moray eels.

Take a journey down the Wetlands Trail past playful river otters, alligators, free-flighted birds and 14-ft invasive Burmese Pythons. Interact with ray and starfish at the touch tanks. Explore A Shore, a 2-acre outdoor water adventure zone, let the kids cool off while parents relax under the shade of the Cantina bar and grill. A wonderful destination with plenty of fun activities!
