Self Guided Bike Tour

Here you decide on the ride and enjoy the freedom of going wherever the road may lead you. Starting from a Fisherman's Wharf Locations, you will be fitted with a current year model bike, helmet, front handlebar bag, rear gear rack, map and route instructions, and given the option to include a return ferry ticket.

Just say how many miles you feel like riding and we'll show you a great route that includes all the best stops the Bay Area has to offer. We can also make suggestions for some of our favourite local rides.

Bike the Golden Gate Bridge on a wide bike path with awesome views! Coast two miles downhill into sunny Sausalito, and then return by ferry! Check out breathtaking coastal views on the City Coast and Park Ride and visit the Palace of Fine Arts, the Legion of Honor Fine Arts Museum, and Ocean Beach on the way. Cycle through Fisherman's Wharf, Fort Mason, Crissy Field, the Presidio, and Fort Point. Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and then head out to Tiburon! Or why not try try some off-road riding around the Marin Headlands? You will treasure your Bike the Bay! adventure for years to come.

The Self-Guided Tour Package includes: a professionally guided tour (up to 3 hours), 24-hour bike rental, helmet, front handlebar bag, bell, Kryptonite lock, rear rack and bungee, map & map holder. Valid photo identification and credit card required for security deposit.

Is it possible to get there by public transport? The F Line street car runs along The Embarcadero to Jefferson and Jones Streets at Fisherman's Wharf.
