Admire Seattle's sights from the water on this kayak tour along Lake Union. Following your guide, enjoy views of the city skyline and the Space Needle as you paddle past Gas Works Park, the Fremont Bridge and lovely waterfront houseboats including the one from
Sleepless in Seattle. Watch seaplanes take flight and spot wildlife as you explore secluded coves, all while learning about the history of the area from your guide. Snacks and bottled water are included.
This small-group tour is limited to 10 people, ensuring you'll receive personalized attention from your guide.
Make your way to South Lake Union Park to meet your guide and receive a safety orientation. Beginners are welcome, so no kayak experience is required. After enjoying some complimentary cookies, fruit and pastries, hop in your kayak and follow your guide on an easy ride along Lake Union.
Observe the interesting design fixtures of Gas Works Park,an old coal plant that was repurposed into a public space. Looking west you'll see the Fremont Bridge, best known for the cement troll living underneath it. Pass several houseboats including the one featured in the movie
Sleepless in Seattle, and
get amazing views of the Space Needle from the middle of the lake while watching and listening to the floatplanes and seaplanes take off and land nearby.
