Sacramento Country Bike Tour and Wine Tasting

The Delta tour departs from the small river side town of Clarksburg which is located approximately ten miles south of Sacramento. Riders will travel from the Old Sugar Mill ( a large 1930's depression era sugar beet facility that has been converted to a lovely wine venue ) through the small historic farming community of Clarksburg in to the Delta region. Expect to see large open working farmland of vineyards, hay, corn, and tomatoes with scenic waterways. Wine tasting and a garden snack are provided at a very casual local family owned winery along the route. Upon our return to The Old Sugar Mill, experience a brief behind the scenes tour of the old facility and hear about the Sugar Beet industry of days gone by. Enjoying a light lunch and additional wine tasting at approximately five small wine venues located at The Old Sugar Mill.

This tour is mostly flat with wonderful central California Valley views along the river. The are is remote and seemingly stopped in time approximately 75 years ago. There are no shops, no tour busses, no restaurants. This is an old time authentic California experience.

Wine tasting is included at one family owned winery. Wineries at the Old Sugar Mill charge a small tasting fee that is applied toward any purchases that are made while there. This individual tasting fee is not included.

For cancellation up to 3 days, a full refund will be given. For cancellation up to 1 days, 50% refund will be given.
