Philadelphia Segway Tour

You'll start your Segway tour of Philadelphia with an orientation session then continuing by cruising through the Historic District to Penn's Landing and the Delaware River via Welcome Park where your guide will initiate you in the founding of the City and the grid-like streets on a 5-mile or 10-mile route. Cruise down the River (on land!) and then back to Head House Square. Depending on the option you choose, your glide will take you past many of the historic homes in wonderful tree-lined residential neighborhood, filled with stories of the the 1800s and home to some great little coffee shops and restaurants. Along the way, your guide will stop for photo ops and entertain you with fun stories and facts about Philadelphia’s history.

This loop takes you through the Historic District, Penn's Landing and the Delaware River via Welcome Park for an introduction to major city sites. You’ll pass the Italian Market, the host of beautiful murals painted along several buildings, and travel around the mosaic clad site of the Magic Gardens on South Street. Along your journey you will see important historical sites such as the First Bank of the United States and several old churches that helped establish William Penn's "freedom of worship" philosophy.

2-hr Segway Tour
Extend your Segway adventure and pass by Elfreth's Alley and the Betsy Ross House. Admire Independence Hall en route to Society Hill, where you can marvel at the stately homes and pass over Avenue of the Arts to Rittenhouse Square, before winding through the Fitler Square neighborhood. From there you can make your way along the Schuylkill River en route to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. See Rocky Balboa at the bottom of the famous steps he ran up in the 1976 blockbuster movie, before moving on to Benjamin Franklin Parkway to see Rodin’s “Thinker” statue in the outdoor sculpture garden. A cruise of some of the back streets will lead you to the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and then through Chinatown at the end of your tour.
