Nightlife at The California Academy of Sciences

The hottest event on the social calendar - come and find out what everyone's talking about! A visit to the Californian Academy of Sciences does not have to end just because the sun goes down. It is when the real fun begins!

Here is your opportunity to experience a whole new side of the Academy at Nightlife, every Thursday night from 18:00. to 22:00. Watch it transform into a lively venue filled with music & mingling, provocative science, special activities and cocktails to create a uniquely sophisticated evening for visitors aged 21 and over. Groove to San Francisco's hippest DJ's and performers, explore all of the Academy's exhibits and shows, and meet locals and visitors from around the world.

The Skip the line nightlife tour includes entrance into the California Academy of Sciences, All exhibits and the DJ Music performance. The VIP Tour includes access to the four story Rainforests of the World exhibit, a reserved pass for the 20:30 Planetarium show, express entry into the building, an open bar in a reserved cocktail area prior to the tour, a one-hour behind-the-scenes tour with a private viewing of some of the Academy's renowned gem and mineral collection and interaction with Academy researchers, entry into nightlife and after tour guests also get to explore the museum and all of its exhibits.

Nightlife operates from 6pm to 10pm. Last General Admission is at 9pm. Check-in by 6pm is required for VIP Tour.
