Night Tour of Chinatown, North Beach and Little Italy

Spend an evening exploring two of San Francisco's most vibrant areas for food and nightlife on this walking tour through Chinatown and Little Italy. Let your senses be stimulated as you awaken to new flavours, ancient cultures and exotic lifestyles.

You will start by exploring Chinatown. San Francisco's Chinatown is the oldest Chinatown in North America, the largest Chinese community outside of Asia and is one of the most densely populated sectors of the city as well as being one of the most picturesque. We'll taste Dim Sum from one of the oldest bakeries in the neighbourhood and discover Chinese cuisine as you've never tasted it before, enticing your senses with new flavours, smells and aromas. You'll get to taste exotic and unique Asian produce, herbs, and teas from the very people who know them best.

Next stop is North Beach, home to a sizeable Italian-American community and the Beat Generation and birthplace to the San Francisco Renaissance. This area has a colourful history with a distinct Mediterranean feel with its many coffee shops, bakeries and shops selling great food. You'll be able to try local delicacies including pizza, speciality meats and locally produced olive oils.
