You'll be treated to gorgeous scenery, delicious food and informative commentary throughout your small-group tour, limited to seven people to ensure a more personalized experience.
Your tour starts at 11:15am at Blackbird Coffee House, where you’ll enjoy pastries from Bovine Bakery and receive a brief history of West Marin’s oysters from your knowledgeable local guide.
Then, hop in your 7-passenger van and head to three famous West Marin oyster farms, admiring the gorgeous scenery along the way. At each farm you visit, savor several oysters fresh and raw and take a behind-the-scenes tour to get an insider’s look at what it takes to cultivate the perfect oyster.
Your first stop is Drakes Bay Oyster Company. After your tour and oyster tastings here, head to the shores of beautiful Drakes Estero to enjoy a lovely picnic lunch (sample menu in Itinerary below).
Then, head to Tomales Bay Oyster Company and Hog Island Oyster Company for more guided tours and tastings. Finally, stop by Saltwater Oyster Depot to sample a selection of baked oysters perfectly paired with a glass of wine.
Your Marin oyster tour ends back at Blackbird Coffee House around 5pm, and you’ll be given a complimentary tote bag and magnet to commemorate this experience.
