Independent 3-Day Harley-Davidson Tour From Miami
This exciting 3-day tour is self-guided, meaning you’ll be given directions and details of your hotel accommodation before leaving Miami. Besides riding, any activities outlined below are to give you an idea of the variety of things to do in the Florida Keys and are not included; any entrance fees and meals are at your own expense.
Day 1: Miami – Key Largo – Key West
Make your own way to the rental shop in downtown Miami and, after a quick safety and orientation briefing, put on your helmet and choose your Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Models include the Electra Glide Classic, Street Glide, Road King, Heritage Softail Classic, Softail Fat Boy and Low Rider, and the rental staff will help pick out a bike that suits you best.
Then, jump on board and hit the road! Your tank is full and you will be given a lock to use throughout your tour. Pass alongside Miami Beach and ride out of the city toward the famous Florida Keys. Follow the Overseas Highway — a road every serious rider aspires to ride — over the sun-drenched Gulf of Mexico to Key Largo. Take a break to ogle the surrounds, and perhaps pay a visit to the African Queen, the iconic sailboat immortalized in the 1951 The African Queen movie starring Katherine Hepburn.
Continue over dozens of bridges and alongside stretches of coastline, admiring the Atlantic Ocean on one side and Florida Bay on the other. Check in to your accommodation in Key West, and relax overnight. If you’re ready to party, Key West is considered one of the most lively places in the US.

Day 2: Key West
The day is yours to savor the beauty of the Florida Keys and do as little or as much riding as you want. Hang out in Key West, the southernmost US city, and discover its bohemian ambiance and Caribbean-influenced cuisine. The side streets around eclectic Duval Street boast quirky cafes and alfresco restaurants that hawk gourmet specialties, ethnic snacks, shrimps, burgers and more.

Day 3: Key West – Key Largo – Florida City – Miami
Wave goodbye to Key West and start your ride back to Miami. Your route passes along Highway 1, the longest north-south road in the US. Hugging the Atlantic coastline and taking in the Overseas Highway, the road passes through Key Largo and Florida City, and both destinations make for an ideal stop-off to break up your journey. Soak up the region’s ambiance and history, perhaps stopping to visit city museums that document Florida’s Conch, Cuban and Bahamian cultures.
Finally, work your way back to Miami, savoring the sun on your skin and views of the turquoise-hued tones of the Florida waters. Fill up the gas tank, and then drop your motorcycle back at the rental store, where your 3-day tour finishes.
