The West Rim of the Grand Canyon is renowned for its spectacular red rock formations and a number of outstanding features that have made it one of the most popular areas. Among the many landmarks are Eagle Point, Guano Point and a village where members of the Hualapai Native American tribe still live in their ancestral lands.

Once you’ve reached the West Rim, you have three-and-a-half hours of free time to avail of the complimentary hop on-hop off shuttle service, facilitating your movements between the various points of interest, including Eagle Point and Guano Point. Pause and marvel at the brilliant layer upon layer of colours that adorn the two billion year-old walls of the canyon. A light lunch will be served on the rim of by the Hualapai locals.

Carved as deep as 1.6km (1 mile) into the earth by a 446km-long (277 miles) stretch of the Colorado River, the Grand Canyon is up to 29km (18 miles) wide at some points.
