GoCar Point Loma Tour

You many think you know San Diego but this tour has been designed to give you a completely different idea of California's second city. In this GPS-guided tour in a fun and easy to drive GoCar you will feel like a local as you discover San Diego's maritime and naval past and present.

Venture West toward the Cabrillo National Monument, exploring some of the US Navy's installations along the way. Discover Shelter Bay and its unique vibe and then climb up towards Point Loma, where you can stop to take in the magnificent views of San Diego Bay and Coronado Island, before heading down into down toward Ocean Shore with its large and vibrant Mexican community. As you make your way back you will visit the beach community of Ocean Beach and return to Old Town. The tour highlights include the historic Gaslamp Quarter, Petco Park, Horton Plaza, Bankers Hill Neighborhood, Balboa Park, El Prado Museum Complex, Spreckel’s Pavillion, San Diego Zoo, Florida Canyon, Hillcrest Village Center, Mission Hills Neighborhood, Fort Stockton, California Mission Museum, Old Town San Diego, Little Italy, San Diego Bay and Harbour, U.S.S. Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum, Seaport Village, Naval Training Center, Shelter Island, Cabrillo National Monument, Point Loma Lighthouse, Point Loma Ecological Reserve and Tide Pools, Whale Overlook, Rosecrans National Cemetery as well as incredible views of San Diego and Mexico.
