You'll feel your senses come alive as we walk around streets packed with busy cafés and family restaurants, the enticing smell of freshly-baked bread and just ground coffee wafting through the air. You'll discover quaint shops with crafts and ceramics from all around the world and delve into North Beach life as you join family bakers kneading love into every loaf of bread.

And, then as you taste everything from great coffee, truffles, breads, olive oil, speciality meats, and more, you'll learn how the food is made and what to look for back home. See coffee being roasted and award-winning chocolates being made. Try locally produced olive oils and some of the best pizza this side of Naples. Savour exquisite pastries and explore some of the Beat generation hang-outs.

This walking tour takes 3 hours and includes pick and up and drop off from central San Francisco and Fisherman's Wharf. It departs every day at 10:00 and 14:00.You will be accompanied by an experienced guide at all times. Remember to wear comfortable clothing and footwear and to dress for the weather. The tour also includes tasting of coffee, as well as other traditional drinks and foodstuffs.
