Boston Photography Tour: Freedom Trail

Get your camera ready and explore Boston’s Freedom Trail on this guided walking tour. Hear some interesting commentary from your guide, a professional photographer, and learn creative photography tips as you wind your way along the trail traveled by the Patriots in their fight for independence from British rule. Through your camera lens, visualize scenes of the Patriots’ struggle and capture historic locations including the burial ground of John Hancock, Paul Revere and Samuel Adams, the site of the Boston the Massacre and the historic building where the Declaration of Independence was read in 1776.

Starting from Park Street Church and ending at Faneuil Hall, follow your guide, an expert photographer along Freedom Trail. Historic commentary on the sites and the people who played an important role in the American Revolution will be provided throughout the tour. Learn how to capture photographs of colonial sites from a modern perspective using creative photography techniques.

We will visit the cemetery where John Hancock, Paul Revere and Samuel Adams are buried, photograph the church the colonists departed from prior to the Boston Tea Party, find out what really happened on the night of the Boston Massacre, and much more as we walk along Boston's historic Freedom Trail.

You’ll also visit the Shaw Memorial, Park Street Church, Old Granary Burying Ground, King's Chapel, Old City Hall, Old Corner Bookstore, Old State House and Faneuil Hall, and learn some history about these sites from your guide.
