The capital city's flat terrain, abundance of bike paths and spectacular sites make it a great place to tour by bike! Whether you want a full service, easy, fun and family-friendly guided tour or just want to grab a bike and go, Bike and Roll delivers the best of DC.

Capital Sites Tour - A great way to familiarize yourself with the heart of Washington DC. Bike the Sites of Capitol Hill and the National Mall from Union Station to the Lincoln Memorial, the Smithsonian Museums, the Washington Monument and more.

Monuments Tour - Bike along the National Mall and along the Potomac Tidal Basin. Learn about the major presidential and war memorials and have a few minutes to explore each up close.

Capital Sites at Night Tour - The evening version of the Capital Sites Tour. Bike the Sites as dusk sweeps the city

Monuments at Night Tour - See the memorials and monuments magnificently lit. You will not only have the opportunity to learn about each, but you will also have a few moments to experience them on foot.

Sites by Segway - This tour will be an overview of the National Mall from the Capitol to WWII including the north side of the White House, some fun off-the-Mall spots, and a ride down Pennsylvania Avenue.

Day Bike Rental - Explore DC with your own itinerary and schedule. Take your bike to a Smithsonian museum, cycle along the Potomac River, or head to one of the area's extensive bike trails.

Tour times vary depending on option purchased. For rentals, operating hours are 10am to 6pm (open earlier and close later in the Summer). Rentals must be returned at least 15 minutes before closing time.

Is it done with a guide, a driver and/or an instructor? Tours are done with a guide. Rentals are self-guided.

Is there a snack included? A snack is included on all tours. Please note snacks NOT included in bike rental option.

Which is the minimum/maximum age to participate? (for all or each one of the activities) Participants must be at least 16 years old to ride a Segway. For tours, minimum age is 2 years old.

Which is the minimum/maximum weight to participate? For Segway tours, minimum weight is 100 lbs, maximum 260 lbs.

Is a waiver required for participation? Participants must read and sign a waiver form prior to tour. Tour participants must be 18 years of age or older; younger participants must have a parent or legal guardian present.

Others Bike tours include comfort bike rental, helmet, reflective safety vest (when applicable), snack, and bottled water. Segway tour includes Segway, helmet, snack and bottled water. Gratuities are not included. Trailer carriages and trailer tandems available for rent for children. Service may be cancelled if the weather makes for dangerous riding conditions. For the participant's safety, a properly fitted helmet is provided and everyone must wear it at all times while riding. During Site at Night tours, participants must wear the reflective safety vest provided. Participants must agree to follow all traffic laws, signs, rules, and regulations while riding. Due to safety precautions and respect for other people on your tour, we ask that participants not use cellular telephones, operate cameras or smoke cigarettes while riding.
