Bainbridge Island and Bloedel Reserve Small-Group Luxury Minibus Tour

Looking for something different when visiting Seattle? Take an easy and scenic ferry ride across Puget Sound and spend some time exploring Bainbridge Island and the Bloedel Reserve, an award-winning public garden filled with eccentric and immaculate grounds. If you have an interest in stunning gardens and natural habitats, you’ll be in heaven, as this tour includes two hours of either guided or individual exploration at Bloedel Reserve. Walk through the Japanese Garden or marvel at photograph-worthy views of Puget Sound, all within a 150-acre (60-hectare) property.

Make your own way from Seattle to Bainbridge Island on the easy 35-minute ferry ride across Puget Sound ($3.75 - $7.50), enjoying the spectacular views of the Seattle skyline and keeping your eyes open for whales and other marine life. The 8:45am ferry departure from Seattle is suggested for catching the start of the tour at 9:20am. When you arrive on Bainbridge Island, your guide and 12-person luxury minibus await you at the ferry terminal.

After a brief tour through the Winslow area, where you can do some shopping, you’ll begin the 15-minute trip across the island to Bloedel Reserve. At the reserve, you can either participate in the guided tour or take yourself on an individual tour.

The reserve is designed to impress. Several different environments make up the space, from the famous Japanese Garden all the way to the bird refuge. By the time you leave, you’ll have a full appreciation of the serenity of the reserve and the dedication that has been put into every inch of these 150 acres (60 hectares).

When you leave the reserve, you’ll be taken back to the ferry terminal where you are free to board your ferry or spend more time on the island.
