The Beatles Story Museum

Beatles Story:
Welcome to the award-winning Beatles Story, the world's pre-eminent permanent attraction devoted to the lives and times of The Beatles. Located in the Fab Four’s hometown of Liverpool, the Beatles Story is an atmospheric journey into the lives, times, culture and music of The Beatles.

Join us on a magical history tour and see how four young lads from Liverpool were propelled to the dizzy heights of worldwide fame and fortune to become the greatest band of all time – from their childhoods in Liverpool, to the early days of the band, to world domination and on to their solo careers. Find out how the Fab Four met, go behind the scenes at the famous Abbey Road Studios and take an underwater trip on the Yellow Submarine! You can also go right back to the place where it started, hang out at the Casbah Coffee Club or explore the stunning replica of the Cavern Club. A rolling programme of special exhibitions also means that you can go time and time again and always find something new. Hear the story unfold through our 'Living History' audio guides, beautifully narrated by John Lennon’s sister, Julia, which is available in ten different languages.

Ultimate Experience tour: Beatles Story + Elvis and us tour.

Elvis and us tour:
Based in the state-of-the-art Pier Head site, 'Elvis and Us' explores how the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll inspired the Beatles. Co-curated by Graceland and the Beatles Story, this stunning exhibition features dozens of rare and exclusive artifacts, many of which have never been publically displayed before.
Elvis Presley and The Beatles are united in a globally significant exhibition presented by Graceland and The Beatles Story. The exhibition is a multimedia, interactive experience filled with music, video and artifacts of both Elvis and The Beatles. This unique, first-of-its-kind exhibition allows visitors to experience the power of both Elvis and The Beatles, along with their explosive impact on music and popular culture. One of the key elements explored in the 'Elvis and Us' exhibition is the evening Elvis and The Beatles met in person on August 27, 1965, at his home in Bel Air, California.
One of the centerpieces of the 'Elvis and Us' exhibition is the white Fender bass guitar played by Elvis and The Beatles at their meeting. A true piece of pop culture history that has never been on public display before.
Other artifacts being exhibited to the UK for the first time include the “Jailhouse Rock” shirt worn by Elvis in the film of the same name, a first album acetate, telegrams from The Colonel and Elvis to Ed Sullivan, rare video footage from the earliest days of Elvis’ career, and a ticket to the ’68 Comeback Special.
