River Thames Christmas Cruise with Lunch or Afternoon Tea

Taking place in wintery November and December when the river is aglow with festive sights, your cruise takes in sights such as Big Ben and the London Eye, specially illuminated for Christmas. Listen to onboard commentary about the top London attractions near the riverbanks, and feast on a 3-course Christmas-themed lunch or afternoon tea with mulled wine.

Choose from a lunch or afternoon tea, and then board your River Thames sightseeing boat at Tower Pier in the center of London. Take a seat in the boat’s festively decorated lower saloon, enjoy a mug of steaming mulled wine (afternoon tea option only), and then gaze out of the window, seeing the sights of London at Christmastime.

A cold and gray time of the year in London, the November and December months are also the city’s coziest, when the streets glow with twinkling Christmas lights. Pass favorite attractions such as Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, and gaze across the water at the London Eye – illuminated with festive colors. Commentary about the sights is given as you pass each one, so listen out to hear snippets of history about the city’s finest sights.

As you cruise, feast on your 3-course lunch or afternoon tea, served by your onboard waiting staff. After roughly 1.5-hours on the water, return to Tower Pier where your Christmas cruise finishes.
