See London in a nutshell with this all-action city streets explorer tour. Visit the National Gallery and Trafalgar Square before hopping on to an old double-decker for a nostalgic trip down memory lane to other top attractions. And it wouldn’t feel right if the tour didn’t pause for that most quintessentially English of traditions, tea and scones.
Start off at the National Gallery and admire masterpieces such as Van Gogh’s Sunflowers before heading to Trafalgar Square. Board an old Routemaster double-decker bus (the ones with the open entrance at the back). Visit the café in the crypt of St Paul’s Cathedral to enjoy fresh scones with jam and whipped cream, to be washed down with a steaming pot of English tea. The main sections of the cathedral are not visited during this stop.
Cross through Paternoster Square, home to the London Stock Exchange, weaving through old church yards and hidden backstreets. If there’s time, sneak up to a roof terrace for a panoramic view of the City, before heading past the Mansion House and the Bank of England. Moving on from the historic centre, see the skyscrapers of Lloyd’s building, Tower 42 and No.30 St Mary Axe, otherwise known as the Gherkin.
Experience a magical moment at the real life Diagon Alley from the Harry Potter movies. From London Bridge, walk along the Thames towards the Tower of London and then on to the gentrified St Katharine Dock before finishing with a waterside drink in an 18th century inn.
