Combo:City Sightseeing in London and The View from The Shard

Live the high life in London with this excellent combination that will take you to the top of the 310-metre tall The Shard, in the EU’s tallest building, and allow you enjoy an open-top double-decker tour of the city. Prepare yourself for unsurpassable 360 degree panoramic views, both up and below, and enjoy three free walking tours as well as a Thames cruise.

Zoom up via high-speed lifts to the 68th, 69th and 72nd floors, where the View from The Shard is located. Here you’ll be at double the height of the next best viewing platform in the city. On level 69, there are multimedia displays and installations while three storeys up, you enjoy the most extreme experience exposed to the elements and sounds of the city beneath. From a height of 244 metres, admire the spectacular views that stretch as far away as 64km (40 miles).

There are three City Sightseeing hop on-hop off routes, red, blue and yellow, with five main starting points. The blue route is known as the Museum Tour and stops many top cultural attractions. Use the red line to visit the aquarium to meet the more than 5,000 species of sea creatures and London Eye big wheel. With the yellow, visit Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral and the Tower of London.

And then there’s the hop on-hop off Thames cruise between Westminster and Greenwich, and the three walking tours: the Changing of the Guard, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Walk and the Jack the Ripper.

Meeting/pick-up point: The Shard is at 40 Bermondsey Street while the red route stop 1 is at Victoria, the blue and yellow routes’ stop 1 is at Piccadilly Circus.
Start/opening time: Available from Monday to Friday at 11am, 13pm, 4.30pm and 6.30pm. Weekends at 10am, 3pm and 7pm. The buses run from 8.30am, every 10 to 20 minutes

Languages: Pre-recorded English, French, German Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Russian and Portuguese the red and blue routes with children's commentary in the red only. The yellow has a live guide in English.
