Combo: Red River Rover Cruise (2 days) and London Eye

See London high and low with this fantastic combination of a hop on-hop off River Thames cruise and a ride on the London Eye, the giant Ferris wheel that’s revolutionised the capital’s skyline and given visitor’s an attraction that has shot right up to the top of the ‘to do’ list.

The London Eye wheel stands 135 metres high, offering unsurpassable panoramic views for more than 40km. Enjoy a bird’s-eye view along the Thames of attractions such as Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey, and beyond to St Paul’s Cathedral and Buckingham Palace. The capsules can hold up to 25 and each revolution lasts for about 30 minutes, allowing you plenty of time to observe the city from all angles.

You can board the River Red Rover at the pier at the base of the London Eye. Cruise along the Thames, the artery through which London’s heart has beaten since Roman times, and enjoy a new perspective on the many landmarks on the north and south banks. Catch a glimpse of Cleopatra’s Needle before sailing under the Millennium Bridge. Pass by symbols of the city old and new such as Shakespeare’s Globe theatre and the Tate Modern museum.

Come up close to the famous tea clipper Cutty Sark and the HMS Belfast, a WWII light cruiser. Enjoy views of the Tower of London and the notorious water-level Traitor’s Gate before passing under the emblematic Tower Bridge. The River Red Rover continues beyond the Tower to Greenwich and back.

Start/opening time: Tower opens at 9am from Tuesday to Saturday and at 10am on Sunday. The River Red Rover leaves calls at piers roughly every 35 minutes, from 10am to 6pm.
