The route will take you past the former Winter Garden which is now the Isle of Bute Discovery Centre. Port Bannatyne lies on the east coast of the isle. Together with its eastern neighbour of Ardbeg, Port Bannatyne stretches along the south shore of Kames Bay which lies at the east end of a low-lying valley. Kames Castle lies a little inland from the head of Kames Bay and comprises a large keep built in the 1300s. The tour continues to tranquil Ettrick Bay.
Explore the island and take in 360 degree panoramic views from the top deck
The coast road meanders along to Scalpsie Bay where the red open top double-decker bus pauses to savour its peace and serenity before heading towards Kingarth, Kilchattan Bay and Ascog Bay. The tour takes you back to Rothesay Pier and leaves ample time to catch the ferry back to Wemyss Bay.
