Christmas Medieval Banquet

Santa has arrived early and he’s headed for the Medieval Christmas banquet to eat and party like a king at a medieval banquet hosted by the incomparable Henry VIII. This rip-roaring seasonal journey back in time features jugglers, jesters, contortionists, acrobats and wenches – all the ingredients for a right royal romp. There are three options: King Henry's Dinner Banquet, the Quiz Night and the Yuletide Luncheon.

King Henry's Dinner Banquet includes a five-course meal with unlimited ale and wine, and live entertainment. On the menu you will find delights such as roast parsnip soup, salmon and trout, chicken with creamy pine nut served with seasonal vegetables and apple, spiced fruit tart and, of course, mince pies. There is also a vegetarian menu.

The Quiz Night at Ivory Vaults includes platters to be shared among the team, two bottles of wine and two jugs of beer per table, a general knowledge quiz and a disco afterwards.

The Yuletide Luncheon includes a five-course meal with a half-bottle of wine and an afternoon disco. The menu features roast parsnip soup, mushroom and goat’s cheese tart, turkey breast filled with a cranberry and pine nut stuffing wrapped in smoked bacon served with roast potatoes, Brussels sprouts, carrots, braised red cabbage and a red wine jus, as well as Christmas strudel mince pies. There is also a vegetarian menu.

Start/opening time: King Henry's Dinner Banquet at 7.15pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Thursday and Friday. Quiz Night at 5.15pm on December 2, 9 and 16, and Yuletide Luncheon on Thursday and Friday at 12.15pm.
End/closing time: King Henry's Dinner Banquet at midnight. Quiz Night at 10pm and Yuletide Luncheon at 4pm.
