Castles, Lochs and Whisky from Edinburgh

Highland Experience offers an enjoyable day out visiting Scotland's most important castle, its largest expanse of fresh water and one of its finest distilleries. The journey takes the clients past Linlithgow, the summer palace of the Royal Stewart Dynasty. Travelling further west the tour stops for a visit at Stirling Castle. Lunch will be taken on the shores of bonnie Loch Lomond,followed by a short stroll in the Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park. Finally, at the Glengoyne Whisky Distillery clients will see the production process and have an opportunity to taste the finished product!

Is it possible to get there by public transport? Yes. Waverly train station and St Andrews square bus station are only a 5 minute walk from the departure point. There are also a number of local bus services that stop near to the departure point.
