St. Cyril's Church and Vrubel's demons.

St. Cyril's Church dated from 12 century and was built by the order of Chernigov's prince as his country seat and family vault. Despite the periods of abandonment, reconstructions and renovations, it survises almost till our time in its original state. This church played a fatal role in the fate of Russian painter Michael Vrubel. It became a starting point for his career and at the same time, it caused the tragic events in his fate. Having began his career ascension from church paintings, he became famous and dead as mentally-ill man painting demons.
