During the tour you will learn about the history of the city during the period from 1941 to 1945.
You will visit the memorial to the heroic defense of Odessa - 411th Coast Battery - memorial complex dedicated to the heroic defense of Odessa during the Great Patriotic War. The composition of the memorial complex includes:
- Museum,
- An open air exhibition of military equipment,
- Battery coastal defense,
- Large oaks planted park.
Among the exhibits in the section of railway track is an armored train, a tram (1941), the submarine "Malyutka", combat aircraft, various modifications of tanks, the warship, missiles and other military equipment. In the park around the museum is reconstructed the line of defense with trenches, firing positions artillery and mortar batteries.
Additionally (if tourists wish) you can visit the unique military restaurant, where you can eat lunch in a military environment, make pictures in the uniforms of Soviet or German army of World War II, as well as take pictures with any kind of military weapons of that time.
