Women project two for Animal and Crop Husbandry in Uganda

Agriculture Volunteers work with small-scale farmers and families to increase food security and production and adapt to climate change while promoting environmental conservation practices. They introduce farmers to techniques that prevent soil erosion, reduce the use of harmful pesticides, and replenish the soil. They work alongside farmers on integrated projects that often combine vegetable gardening, livestock management and food security.

In most communities in Uganda Women’s Empowerment has not been a crucial element and yet they contribute 75% to there Family development as well as there comminutes. Volunteers can engage in projects Development of Income-generating activities

Women in income-generating activities such as poultry and vegetable production pig and goat rearing, mushroom financial farming agriculture being the backbone of most communities in Uganda is relevant to educate the communities of modern farming methods to enable them improve there lives holistically.

A volunteer among the above aimed project requires long hours of work especially in the field. The activities also involve a lot of community trainings as well as garden Demonstrations.
