DAY 1 - Depart the in your country - Arrive in Istanbul - Arrive Cappadocia Depart the in your country for Turkey. Depart from İstanbul to Kayseri airport. Transfer from Kayseri to you hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure. Overnight: Cappadocia   DAY 2 - Cappadocia Sightseeing In the morning, first meeting with the lunar landscape of Cappadocia: rock formations beyond belief in Devrent valley; a journey in the past with its troglodyte houses, visit to Pasabag “fairy chimneys” where the voice of wind mixes with the “songs of fairies” near Zelve. Lunch break in Avanos, centre of terra cotta work of art since 3000 BC. and a demonstration in a traditional pottery workshop. Afternoon, visit the famous Goreme Open Air Museum and see the best examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia in rock-cut churches with frescoes and paintings (10th to 13th century). Continue to Uchisar Rock-Castle to have a panoramic view of the valleys of Cappadocia. Overnight: Cappadocia, Meals: Breakfast, Dinner   DAY 3 - Full Day in Cappadocia Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore the area independently. A region of surreal rock formations and incredible cultural heritage, Cappadocia is home to rock-cut temples, ancient underground cities, and unparalleled landscapes. Optional: Cappadocia Balloon Ride (AM)*, Optional: Full Day Cappadocia (AM)*, Optional: Whirling Dervishes Performance (PM), Overnight: Cappadocia, Meals: Breakfast, Dinner   DAY 4 – From Cappadocia drive to Ankara Meeting at the hotel reception at 08:30am We leave from hotel and drive to Ankara on the way there is a special point that is called Tuz Gölü ( salt lake) Tour to Anıtkabir and introduction about Ankara, the Turkish capital, that includes all the top sights OR the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations with its Neolithic, Hittite, Urartian and Phrygianworks of art. Overnight: Ankara., Meals: Breakfast, Dinner   DAY 5 – Drive from Ankara to İstanbul When we reach our hotel the balance of the day is at leisure. Free time in İstanbul. Overnight: İstanbul, Meals: Breakfast, Dinner   DAY 6 - Morning City Tour of Istanbul This morning, enjoy a half day morning tour of Istanbul, the only city that straddles two continents. Your tour includes a visit to the Blue Mosque, a 17th century Ottoman Mosque famous with its six minarets and magnificent interior with blue tiles. Continue to the Hippodrome, the place chariot races and competitive athletic events took place during the Roman period. Finally, visit St. Sophia – the great Byzantine Basilica built in the 6th century, which remained the largest cathedral in the world for almost a thousand years, it was later converted to a mosque and now serves as a museum. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure, exploring this city that blurs the line between East and West, with incredible architecture that is rivaled only by its spectacular natural setting on the Bosphorus Strait. Optional: Half Day Istanbul with Topkapi Palace & Grand Bazaar (PM), Overnight: Istanbul, Meals: Breakfast   DAY 7 - Full Day In Istanbul Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore Istanbul independently. This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at your hotel with your traveling companions Optional: Istanbul Bosphorus Cruise with Spice Market (PM) Overnight: Istanbul, Meals: Breakfast, Dinner   DAY 8 – Transfer to Airport According to your flight time trasnfer will be organized.   *The Cappadocia Balloon Ride tour ends before the Full Day Cappadocia tour begins. Both tours can be done on the same day.
