Dolmabahce Palace&Cable Car&Bosphorus on Boat

Discover the magic of this fabled city between Europe and Asia in this comprehensive full day tour taking in Ottoman Palaces, Roman Fortresses, bustling harbours, serene Imperial gardens and the Bosphorous.

After being picked up from your hotel between 08.00 and 08.30 the first stop is Dolmabahce Palace, a full-blown Victorian flight of fancy, residence of the Ottoman court in the 19th Century. We'll tour magnificent state rooms decorated in gilt and crystal. Next stop are the Yildiz Imperial Gardens. Enjoy the peace and quiet as you stroll around this wonderful park with its exuberant vegetation and traditional Ottoman pavilions.

We'll make a brief stop off at a top leatherware outlet where you may want to snap up some great bargains before we board a river cruiser for an invigorating cruise along the Bosphorous. Some of the sights you will see include the Dolmabahce and Beylerbeyi Palaces, the Rumeli Fortress and the Tower of Leander. Then we'll climb to the top of Pierre Loti Hill by cable car where you can enjoy amazing views over the Istanbul and the Golden Horn. Afterwards we'll head for the Golden Horn itself. This natural and extremely secure harbour can be said to be the beating heart of this ancient city.
