The main attraction has to be the mud pools along the Dalyan River. We'll board a boat and sail down the river past reed beds heading for these therapeutic pools, which have been used for healing since the times of the Ancient Greeks. Wallow in the warm, sulphur-rich mud and rinse off in the thermal springs. Then judge for yourself - it’s said to make you feel ten years younger.

After that, we'll sit down for an open buffet lunch before we continue our cruise further down the river, sailing past the Lycian rock tombs. These astonishing Royal Tombs were cut into the living rock high above the river in around 400BC.

Our last stop is Iztuzu beach, a protected nesting ground for endangered Caretta-caretta, or loggerhead, turtles. After sailing to this beautiful sandbar at the river mouth, you’ll have two hours’ to relax. Lie back in the sun, swim in the Mediterranean and enjoy the views over the mountains and sea.

This full day guided tour takes approximately twelve hours; you will be picked up from your hotel at around 06:00h, returning at 18:30 and includes transfers, bilingual guide and a buffet lunch. We suggest you bring comfortable shoes and clothes, sunglasses and a cap, swimsuit and sun screen.
