This tour is a perfect combination taking in both the cultural highlights of the interior highlands and the beautiful southern coast. Leaving Negambo our first stop is Sigiriya a giant rock fortress overlooking the jungle that houses the beautiful frescoes of the Sigiriya Damsels. The next stop is Kandy a culture center and sacred city for Buddhist where you may visit the Temple of the Tooth. Next we visit the sacred Adams peak the highest mountain in Sri Lanka and tradition indicates it houses the footprint of Buddah. The last stop in the highlands is Nuwara Eliya which was a favorite hill station of the British as it is blessed with a cool climate. We visit Yala National Park on the south coast famous for its wild life diversity and Elephant population. From Yala we travel the south coast back Negambo with a stop in Galle. The drive along the south coast is beautiful as we pass miles of sandy beaches fringed with coconut palms and leaves you wanting to come back to Sri Lanka again and again.

Day 1 - Arrival at Negombo

Pick up at the airport and transfer to hotel in Negombo.
Note: If you land after 20:00 then Day 1will be the next day. In that case, your accommodation will be in the same hotel during the first two nights!!! Take this into consideration when you book your flight back home!

Days 2 and 3 - Sigiriya

Your driver will pick you in the morning and take you to Sigiriya. Today's program takes you to a guided visit to Sigiriya. Sigiriya, the spectacular 'Lion rock' fortress, stands majestically overlooking the luscious green jungle surroundings, and is one of Sri Lanka's major attractions.
Highlights: the water gardens, the frescoes of the Sigiriya Damsels, the mirror wall with graffiti, the lion platform and the summit.

Day 4 - Kandy

In the morning our transport takes you to Kandy a charming hill capital, cultural centre of the island and a World Heritage City. On the way to Kandy you can visit Dambulla Cave Temple a vast isolated rock mass where king Walagambahu took refuge in the 1st century B.C. He later turned the caves into a rock temple. Its rock ceiling is one large sweep of colorful paintings which depict Buddhist mythology and tales of the Buddha’s previous births. Some of them are over 2000 years old.

Days 5 - Adams Peak

We visit Sri Pada (Adam's Peak) is the most iconic mountain of Sri Lanka. It's 2'243 meter (7359 ft) tall and it is a holy place for Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims and Christians which ties it to Buddah, Shiva and Adam respectively.

Day 6 - Nuwara Eliya

Blessed a with salubrious climate, breathtaking views of valleys, meadows, mountains and greenery; it's hard to imagine that Nuwara Eliya is only 180 Km from the hot and humid Colombo. Nuwara Eliya (City of Lights), also known as 'Little' England', was the favorite hill station of the British who tried to create Nuwara Eliya into a typical English Village.

Day 7 - (Night spent at Tissamaharama)

About 40km (25 miles) north east of Hambantota, Tissa is the most convenient jumping-off point for Ruhuna National Park, to the east, and the Kataragama temple complex. Private tour to Buduruwagala Temple and to Yala National Park.

Day 8 - (Night: Galle)

Travel along the coast to Galle the location of the historic Galle Fort

Day 9 - (Night: Negombo)

Your transport picks you up from the hotel in Galle to take you to Negombo. Day at leisure.

Day 10 - (Leave: Airport)

At the scheduled time, our transport drives you to the airport to board your international flight. End of our services.

!!! Please consider that in case your plane is schedule for leaving after 03:00 in the night (that means on day number 15 of your stay), you will need to pay for an additional night in the hotel (50 USD per person)!!! We will pick you up 2h and 30 minutes before your plane is planned for take-off.
