Wine tasting Ramanya

Raise a glass to Mallorca’s wine country with a guided tour and tasting at the Celler Ramanya winery in the heart of the Binissalem Designation of Origin region. It is located in the outskirts of the picturesque town of Santa Maria del Cami.

Reds, whites and rosés are produced at this family-owned winery as well as young wines, aged wines, sweet wines and sparkling wines – and all are made according to the traditional system of second fermentation in the bottle and with different barrels. All are typically Mallorcan and evoke the beauty and richness of this island, which has been a grape-growing region since Roman times and beyond.

The family strives to produce wines with personality and which represent the essence of Mallorca. These are intense, aromatic wines. The Goig is a sparkling rosé made exclusively with Manto Negro – a dark-skinned grape variety found only in Mallorca – while the Somni is a sweet red made with Manto Negros that have been over-ripened on the vine.

Celler Ramanyà has 12 hectares of vineyards divided between mature, 20 to 40-year-old Manto Negro and Callet vines and newly planted varieties such as Cabernet, Merlot, Moll and Syrah. Despite being a small, artisanal winery, it is equipped with the most advanced technology and the priceless enthusiasm of those whose passion ensures the highest quality wines. The visit includes the winery tour and the opportunity to taste two wines.
