Touring: Morocco (imperial cities 7 days)

From mythical Casablanca to mystical Marrakech, Morocco is a land brimming with attractions and activities. Just a short hop across the Straits of Gibraltar, it offers a fascinating taster of Africa.

During this sensational seven-day guided tour, you will visit Fez, Meknez, Marrakech. Casablanca, Rabat and Tangier, while passing through the rugged foothills of the Atlas Mountains.

Explore Fez on day two, visiting the elaborately decorated royal palace, famed for its golden doors, the old Christian and Jewish quarters, and the charmingly chaotic Medina.

A day later, en route to Marrakech, pause for a tour of the ancient city of Meknes, which has a Unesco World Heritage Site old town packed with gems of intricate Arabesque architecture.

Wake up on day four to the sights, sounds and scents of the fabled Red City of Marrakech, with its Unesco World Heritage Site old town. Visit the Koutoubia mosque, the Saadian Tombs, the Jemaa el-Fnaa square and much, much more.

On day five, discover Casablanca, a city made immortal by Hollywood, with a panoramic tour.

Day six takes you to Rabat, the capital, where the top attractions include the royal palace, the Mohamed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower.

The final day takes in the vibrant, whitewashed city of Tangier, from which we will return to Spain by ferry.

This tour departs every Sunday all year round, with accommodation provided in either four or five-star hotels. Included are guides, lodgings, transportation, daily breakfast, two lunches and four dinners.
