Touring: Andalucía, Madrid and Toledo (7 days)

Take seven days to marvel at six of Spain’s most attractive cities with this fascinating cultural tour to Granada, Toledo, Madrid, Cordoba, Seville and Ronda. Begin with a guided tour of the Alhambra palace and the Generalife gardens in Granada, which will reveal the opulence in which the city’s mediaeval Muslim princes lived.

The journey to Toledo itself is a treat, passing through the rolling olive groves of northern Andalusia and the arid pastures of La Mancha that so inspired Don Quixote.

At the walled city of Toledo, a guided tour will take you through the immaculately preserved medieval streets of the Unesco World Heritage Site old town, which is dominated by a stunning Gothic cathedral.

You will spend days three and four in the multicultural metropolis of Madrid, with a sightseeing tour included.

On day five, we will cut through La Mancha again to visit Cordoba, where a guided tour will take you through the narrow, winding streets of the old Jewish Quarter and to the Unesco World Heritage Site of the Mosque-Cathedral.

Day six takes you to Seville, for a monumental and panoramic tour of the city famed for the Giralda tower, the colourful Plaza de España and much, much more.

The final day sees you visit the picturesque town of Ronda, which is dramatically perched on a steep gorge.
