The dramatic volcanic landscape of Timanfaya National Park is especially evocative at sunset. You'll see the peaks and craters turn from bright red to rusty brown as the sun sinks slowly over the horizon like something out of a science fiction movie. oin us on a tour around the Park's famous Lunar Route around the Mountain of Fire and then sit down for a barbecue dinner at El Diablo restaurant, built on top of the Islote de Hilario Volcano.
This unique restaurant was designed by Lanzarote's acclaimed architect and artist Cesar Manrique, its floor to ceiling windows command stunning panoramas over the surrounding craters and volcanic peaks. You'll have plenty of time to take pictures and relax over a pre-dinner drink before tucking into a sizzling barbecue cooked over the scorching heat coming out of a volcanic vent.
