A tour through Seville is a journey through time as this fascinating excursion will reveal. It combines a minibus route through the most emblematic sights and attractions of the old town with a wonderful cruise on the River Guadalquivir, which for centuries was the city’s gateway to the New World. See the former Royal Tobacco Factory, Plaza de España, the Torre de Oro and the Cartuja Island among others and explore the ancient alleyways of the Santa Cruz district.
From the minibus, you will discover the former Royal Tobacco Factory building, the ornate masterpiece where Bizet’s Carmen worked. Admire the scale and detail of the Plaza de España, itself a star of two Star Wars movies. Behold the baroque brilliance of San Telmo Palace, seat of the Andalusian government. Treasure the timelessness of the 13th century Torre de Oro (the Golden Tower).
Whizz through Santa Cruz, the former Jewish quarter adjacent to the cathedral, which is a labyrinth of narrow streets and picturesque plazas before boarding a river boat for a pleasant cruise on the Guadalquivir. Enjoy a different perspective on the Torre de Oro, see the colourful and vibrant Calle Betis, the baroque Bullring, the iconic Isabel II Bridge, which became a symbol the city’s modernisation during that monarch’s reign, and the futuristic bridges and the pavilions built during Expo 92. See also Cartuja Island and the monastery where Cristopher Columbus lived for some years.
