--Zarautz: town exploring and beach walk. The strong marine tradition of whale hunting lasted here until the 16th century. The strong tradition of tourism began shortly after the summer stays of Queen Elizabeth II, so it is from the second half of the 19th century the true takeoff of Zarautz as a tourist destination began.
--The charming small fishing village of Getaria. Home of Juan Sebastian Elcano (Getaria 1487 to 1526) the man who was first to sail around the world. It is probably one of the most treasured medieval centers, which best reflects the passing of time.
--The place where the green mountains, abruptly meet the Atlantic Ocean! At this point of the coast, the mountains drop dramatically to sea level, with wonderful views and letting us observe the rough rock formations formed over millions of years.
