Parque minero de la Unión

La Union Mining Park covers an area of 50.000 m², and It is a privileged space in the Sierra Minera . You will know in situ the whole process of the former underground mining industry in the XIX and XX centuries, from the mining extraction up to the metal obtaining at the foundries. Live the unforgettable experience to go round more than 4.000 m² galleries and know how the miners´ lives and works were, as they have left their mark in this astonishing Heritage. Visit is about two hours. It starts at the Visitors Reception Centre, where a video helps you to understand La Union History. The itinerary begins on the Mining Train. From here you can see most of the landscape elements related to the Mining industry. The tour finishes with the Agrupa Vicenta Mine guiding visit, the main attraction into the Mining Park.
